CyberPlus conducted a TSDP program for 6th semester ISE students in 2006. The course was called "The Extra Mile", since it was designed to cover more than what was prevalent in the VTU syllabus.
As part of the program, students were taught XML, DTD and Schema, and how to design an XML Parser from scratch. Students got a new perspective to parser development using the concepts of States and Transitions.

CyberPlus conducted a TSDP program for 3rd semester ISE students in 2005. The course was called "The Extra Mile", since it was designed to cover more than what was prevalent in the VTU syllabus.
As part of the program, students were taught the Standard Template Library (STL) of C++, Textual User Interface Design in Linux using the Textuality Library, and the design and development of a Text Editor using STL for the data structures and Textuality for the user interface.
Some of those students (Chetan Ankola, Preeti Chandur and Sandhya) later joined Nokia Siemens Networks, where they were retrained in C/C++/Linux, and were all praises for the program they had undergone in the college.
